'Magic Stick,' a rising streetwear label that's based in Japan, has released its 'Silent Treatment' Fall/Winter 2016 collection.
Although it's not uncommon for urban style-focused labels to draw on 90s inspiration, the way in which Magic Stick combines the nostalgic grunge looks with contemporary components makes its pieces unique. The brand infuses its styles with cynical graphic prints to add to its angst-filled aesthetic with phrases like "Ready to Die" and "95% Chronic 5% Me" being a few examples.
The Silent Treatment collection is diverse yet generates a unified tone at the same time, with styles ranging from retro athletic to rocker luxury. The latter is shown with an olive fur jacket, which varies subtly in color to create a camouflage-like print.
