Retro-Styled Pocket Computers

The 'Macintosh Pocket' by Rex Sowards is Classically Inspired

The conceptual 'Macintosh Pocket' has been designed by Rex Sowards as a pocket computer imagined for yesteryear to provide users with mobile computing capabilities from anywhere. The device is paired with a trackball for navigation that's inspired by the one found in the Apple PowerBook and is equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard. The grayscale design of the device calls to mind the original Nintendo Game Boy and imagines what it might've looked like if Apple had been able to foray into mobile computing in the 1980s.

The conceptual 'Macintosh Pocket' is paired with a series of physical connectivity ports on the rear for connecting it to old-fashioned technology peripherals like a CRT monitor. The device maintains the style of 80s technology products, but with a decidedly more compact design.
