This Macintosh Computer Concept by Ian Zelbo Revives a Classic

This Macintosh computer concept has been designed by Ian Zelbo as a revival of the original Macintosh computer from 1984 that revives the classic design of the desktop and gives it relevancy once again for a whole new generation. The computer maintains a somewhat chunky aesthetic that calls to mind the original system, but boasts a more expansive display along with must-have features like the Apple M2 chip for speedy computing. The computer brings back the brand's signature logo in the bottom left-hand corner and would no doubt be welcomed by consumers with a sense of nostalgia.

The Macintosh computer concept was explained by Zelbo who said, "While I was not born in time for the launch of the Macintosh, I can appreciate how influential it was. I wanted to see what the Macintosh would look like today by blending the nostalgic design with Apple’s current design trends. While it started out as a play on Apple’s recycling of past designs, I truly love the result.”
