Inevitably, You Will Knock Over the M and M Floor Lamps

The M and M Floor Lamps featured above have a nice design, seem to work effectively and would be a nice addition to any nightstand or desk. But, alas, these are floor lamps.
Considering these are about the size of my shin, it is pretty much guaranteed that a dog, cat or wandering foot is going to knock this bad boy over. Perhaps you are more careful than I am, but I know I would unintentionally break this lamp in under a week.
