Electrifying High-ABV Coolers

LYTT Electric Coolers Come in Recyclable, Glow-in-the-Dark Vessels

The Boston Beer Company recently unveiled LYTT Electric Coolers, a standout lineup of single-serve drinks packaged in patent-pending vessels that look like upside-down lightbulbs, adorned with glow-in-the-dark lettering to amplify the theme. Small but mighty, the cocktails in varieties like Tropical Punch, Long Island Iced Tea and Strawberry Rita each come in at 15% ABV, offering more alcohol by volume than the average malt-based beverage.

“Lytt stands for standing out in the crowd," said Tim Kerrigan, associate director of innovation at The Boston Beer Company, in a news release. "The single-serve convenience factor packs a punch on flavor and ABV while clearly signaling that our drinker is ready to light up the occasion."

To start, LYTT Electric Coolers will be exclusive to Florida, Illinois, Ohio, Texas and Washington, though The Boston Beer Company has plans to bring LYTT to other markets by the end of the year.
