For the holidays this year, 5-star hotel Claridge's teamed up with Dolce & Gabbana to create an ultra luxe Christmas tree.
The tree was unveiled earlier this year on November 26th and recreates a traditional Christmas tree, inspired by the Italian heritage of designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. What makes this tree truly spectacular is that it features over 450 hand-blown Italian glass ornaments, hand-crafted "pupi" puppets that line the base of the tree and a colorful luminarie that frames and tops the tree, which is originally a decoration that hails from Southern Italy.
The designers remarked that this opulent London tree is a celebration of artisanal Italian craftsmanship, as well as representative of the kind of quality work Dolce & Gabbana loves to produce and share worldwide, fashion or otherwise.
