Originally created by the Jubilee Project to raise awareness for The American Society for Deaf Children, the Love Language remake is even better than the original. Capturing two people who meet coincidentally on a bench, the Love Language follows them as they weave their way through flirty first conversations.
The girl wears earphones and seems uninterested in the boy, but he is persistent and starts to talk to her through writing messages on sticky notes. They continue their conversation and make plans to meet up in the same spot again as Love Language progresses. At the end, the girl reveals that she is deaf and the boy answers “you’re still beautiful.”
The Love Language video is a touching illustration of how love (or at least like) conquers all.
