PUMA's Design Celebrates German Soccer Player Lothar Matthäus

By collaborating with '1.FC Herzogenaurach,' PUMA crafted a new blue camouflage sneaker model that was made in celebration of the town of Bavaria as well as German soccer legend Lothar Matthäus.

Offered in two different variations, the sneakers can be purchased in either an all-camouflage colorway with a bright orange accent or one that swaps between shades of royal blue, navy and white which features a more subtle camouflage accent. Both make use of a sleek construction that ensures the sneakers comfortable and lightweight however, making for a model that's versatile enough to incorporate into everyday wear.

As HYPEBEAST reports, "The camo graphic resembles the local geography of Herzogenaurach and the surrounding Erlangen-Höchstadt district." With this, PUMA and 1.FC Herzogenaurach do well in honoring both Lothar Matthäus and the German state near the southeast of the border.
