Spirited Grunge Editorials

Loroenzo Cisi Photographs Stephanie Cook for C-Heads

London-based media producer Loroenzo Cisi photographed Finnish model Stephanie Cook for a C-Heads exclusive editorial.

Cisi went for a distinctly '90s theme in this shoot. Cook is dressed casually, minimally and mildly grungy. She wears a 'Smells Like Cheap Spirits' tank (a nod to Nirvana, arguably the most obvious marker of the decade), combat-style boots and leather. Cisi styled Cook himself, dressing her in clothes by Beyond Retro London, Rock It, Jet Rag Los Angeles, Blitz London and American Apparel. The black-and-white images completely correspond to the raw styling.

The shoot reeks of the teen spirit that Kurt Cobain spoke (sang?) so fondly of. Browsing through the images of Cook, who is loitering in the parking lot of an apartment building, is sure to trigger some nostalgia.
