Eating locally is not only fashionable, but may one day soon be necessary. Locavores are those inclined to obtain their food supplies from sources that are nearby. Since our food travels more than 1,000 miles on average, the implications are huge. How long can we continue to sustain this?

Implications - Today's consumer is very health conscious, with an array of different diets to choose from and pledge allegiance to, as consumers take their diets very seriously. Eating locally is the newest wave, providing all of the surface health benefits of Vegan eating with a more eco-friendly twist.
