Livestream fundraising has become quite popular in the gaming community and many users with a sizable following engage in charitable initiatives that support different not-for-profits — from causes pertaining to mental health to environmental charities. However, there is a problem with livestream fundraising and it is "that not all the funds go directly to the charity" as there are extra fees and charges that usually go into processing each donation. Streamlabs has come up with a solution to this problem.
The streaming service has created a special fundraising platform that allows users to "bypass the 5% fee that most platforms build into their campaigns."
The livestream fundraising platform is in its beta stages of testing.
