Garmin Boasts the Next-Generation LiveScope 2 Series

Garmin, a leading manufacturer of marine electronics, has introduced the LiveScope 2 Series — the next generation of its live-scanning sonar technology.

Garmin's LiveScope 2 Series includes three new transducer models that deliver 20% greater resolution, improved noise reduction, and expanded sonar coverage compared to the previous version, all while simplifying installation by eliminating the need for a separate black box through direct connection to compatible multi-function displays and power sources.

The live-scanning sonar technology series offers two primary configurations. The LiveScope 2 (LVS44) extends range out to 250 feet with 25% more reach than its predecessor, making it suitable for anglers who want to scout larger areas. The LiveScope 2 HD (LVS42HD) optimizes clarity within castable distances of up to 125 feet, providing 50% more detail at shorter ranges for those who prioritize precision over distance.
