LinkedIn is Introducing Two New Features for Professionals

LinkedIn has announced 'Linkedin analytics' and profile videos, two new features that enhance the marketability of its platform. The analytics feature will allow users to check and monitor the performance of both individual posts and their account as a whole. The individual post analytics will show various metrics, such as the number of views and interactions, while the account statistics page will show information regarding an account's engagement history as a whole.

The profile videos feature will let users post videos that are visible at the top of their profile page. These videos can function as short introductions that allow users to showcase their talents in a more human way. It is one thing to read about a person's qualifications on paper, but it is another to see how this person talks and behaves in a video. Additionally, these videos can be changed and altered, which allows business pages on LinkedIn to upload promotional content based on events and campaigns.
