Polène Unveils an Upcycled Limited-Edition 'Béri Lif' Bag

Polène's Limited-Edition 'Béri Lif' handbag highlights the intersection of artisanal craftsmanship, premium materials, and upcycled design. Scheduled for release on June 26, the accessory is produced in Ubrique, Spain, a region renowned for its heritage leatherworking expertise.

Each bag is handcrafted using upcycled leather offcuts sourced from the brand's production process and features an intricate leaf motif composed of up to 437 individual leather leaves. Every leaf is "carefully cut, dyed, embroidered, and hand-sewn before being assembled into the final design, resulting in a production process that requires approximately 15 hours of manual craftsmanship per bag."

Limited to just 600 pieces worldwide, the Béri Lif will be available in Porcelain, Ebony, and Polar colorways. Crafted from certified full-grain Italian calf leather and priced at $1,040 USD, the release reflects growing interest in limited-run luxury accessories that combine material repurposing with traditional craftsmanship.
