Designer Jorge Garaje is reimagining lightweight, outdoor furniture by revitalizing the old-fashioned aesthetic of wired glass, by infusing the design with a more modern-looking twist.
Garaje's tables substitute the glass tables for a more stylish base, resulting in an easy-to-carry table that is reminiscent of the design so prevalent in Spanish culture. The tables are comprised of two elements: an aluminum structure and a reinforced glass cover. The covers are available in a variety of colors including clear, smokey gray and amber. The designs bring a modern twist to the already popular side-table designs with structure that has undergone little innovation since its conception.
Garaje's designs pay homage to the prevalent Spanish-style while addressing a need for a compact aesthetic.
