The Stary is an electric skateboard that may well be the most lightweight one on the market, which is a pretty impressive feat given the number of skateboard manufacturers vying for that mantle. Great electric skateboards feature electrical components that are hidden and inconspicuous -- this particular one features a hub motor, resulting in a light weight.
This electric skateboard weighs only 8.6 pounds, which makes it very easy to carry around when getting from skate destination to skate destination. The board has a composite deck crafted out of fiber glass, bamboo and Canadian maple. A full charge, which takes two hours, offers a range of 10 miles.
With its combination of performance and light weight, the Stary is setting a new bar for electric skateboards.
