The LightSpur is a gadget designed to make night runners and cyclists easier to spot. Created by Nathan Sports, the LightSpur is a lightweight band that clips to the heel of your shoe. Once affixed to your shoe, the LED light in the band begins flashing so that you're visible to motorists coming up behind you.

As any runner or biker will tell you, going out at night can be extremely dangerous. Oftentimes those who get their cardio at night will wear reflective vests, but these can be cumbersome and don't actively draw attention to the wearer. The LightSpur weighs in at a mere 1.2 ounces, so chances are you won't even know it's there. Its waterproof and its replaceable battery is said to last for up to 100 hours.
