Auto-Optimized Smartwatches

LG's Smartwatch for Audi Features webOS Software

Audi's LG-powered smartwatch, which debuted at CES 2015, operates using webOS (as opposed to Android Wear).

The design is sleek, refined and efficient, with the animations running quickly and smoothly. Audi pulled through when it came to the design of the watch, providing gorgeous, yet minimal, branding on the watch's circular face (which is matched by a circular navigation menu and supplementary calender feature). The watch also is optimized to unlock Audi vehicles.

The watch follows the form and function of LG's Watch R. Much like that model, the webOS smartwatch features cellular connectivity, cellular radio, a non-rotary phone dialer and messaging app. This sophisticated timepiece has marked itself as a serious contender in the heavily competitive world of smart watches.
