LEGO has announced that the LEGO Exo Suit, designed by Peter Reid, has received enough fan votes to move into production. The site LEGO CUUSO allows for fans to invent new designs and collections that can be voted on. When one design gets enough votes, it will be voted on by a review committee for production. If it passes the voting stage, the design will than be produced as an actual LEGO kit.
The LEGO Exo Suit is a great throwback to science fiction books and films like Alien, where they became one of the film franchise’s most iconic images. The exo suit will be a fun construction set for kids big and small, and kids-at-heart as well. Thus fun, unique design will definitely inspire many a play-acting game.
