Barrett Biggers's 'Legend of Zelda' Posters Comically Advertise Game Items

In a series of imagined 'Legend of Zelda' poster advertisements by artist Barrett Biggers, products and services from 'The Legend of Zelda' are promoted. Biggers used vintage typography combined with bold graphics to create geek-approved artwork.

Each poster takes an element from the 'Zelda' series and promotes it with slogans and fantasy statistics. Promoting 'Hylian Shields,' Biggers created a poster complete with discounts and a slogan that reads "Always remember iron & steel protects the best so keep a trusty hylian shield at your breast!"

The posters also threw in some modern advertising tactics to give the graphics some extra flair. The advertisement for a health potion is labelled as "100% certified organic" and as a "non-fairy formula." By playing on commonly used modern slogans, Biggers's posters have turned into something comfortably familiar while still vintage and foreign.
