After introducing the waste-reducing LastSwab and LastTissue, LastObject is launching its newest eco-friendly product—LastRound—on Kickstarter. With each new innovation, LastObject takes on a different disposable product, and after developing sustainable alternatives to cotton swabs and paper tissue, the brand is taking on disposable cotton rounds.
The reusable cotton swabs help to address the fact that single-use cotton rounds consume high amounts of water—as LastObject estimates, "switching to reusables can save around 10 liters per round." The reusable cotton rounds are made from 70% wood fiber and 30% organic cotton yet they retain the look and feel of single-use cotton rounds, and are useful for removing makeup and applying skincare products like serums. The washable and reusable rounds are easy to store and take on the go, especially as they pack into a bio-based case.
