Father.IO is a high-tech, real-life and multiplayer first-person shooter laser tag game that makes use of augmented reality technology, smartphone connectivity and an infrared peripheral device to convert your humble smartphone into a laser-shooting weapon.

This laser tag game can be used for team or free-for-all deathmatch modes, with an Internet-based commander mode allowing you to command your team from your browser. The game is powered by either an iPhone or Android smartphone and a special infrared peripheral called an Inceptor. This dongle is sheathed in six infrared sensors that can detect shots from all angles or directions within a range of 50 meters.

Father.IO is truly a high-tech spin on the classic laser tag game, but with a much more realistic and immersive feel.
