The Lake of Shimmer-Avant Time No. 3 Swarovski watch has been likened to a sparkling body of water. According to the designer, the circular pattern of the wristband symbolizes light reflecting off a lake. Despite all of the facets and details of this timepiece design, it has a stunningly simple aesthetic. Created by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka for the crystal-dealing company, the watch is set to be unveiled during the upcoming 2012 Milan furniture fair.

Devoid of the usual tiny beads that Swarovski watches are known for, the Lake of Shimmer-Avant Time No. 3 timepiece boasts a face composed of a giant 12-faceted crystal. Although its gleaming surface may make it hard to tell the time, who really cares?
