The new Aston Martin Lagonda Vision is a concept vehicle that masterfully blends engineering with technological innovation. The vehicle is Aston Martin's greatest study in emission-free luxury vehicles and is expected to lead the charge in 2021. According to Dr. Andy Palmer, president and CEO of Aston Martin, the Lagonda Vision exists to "prove that being modern and luxurious are not mutually exclusive concepts." This new concept car is being touted as the "world's first zero-emission luxury brand" and Aston Martin is hoping to use the vehicle as a platform to further its emission-free developments.
The Lagonda Vision features some unique design elements thanks to the emission-free design. The lack on front engine allows for a roomy and more open cabin, with state-of the-art controls and luxury interiors. The Lagonda Vision lacks a hood, as there is nothing in that space, and features a more rooted structural design. The natural lines of the vehicle display upward momentum and move sleekly over the the entire body of the car. The concept features an electric drivetrain with solid-state batteries and boasts a range of 400 miles.
