These Krizia Robustella and David Mendez Designs Are Nostalgic

This collaborative Krizia Robustella and David Mendez collection marks the start of a new label entitled PARAISO. This color-infused streetwear line features vibrantly printed sweaters and backpack accessories that are worn by a model pair whose faces are concealed with black and colored paint applications by makeup artist Laura Rilo.

Posing against a rainbow brite inspired backdrop, the models embraces a nostalgic visual aesthetic that is reminiscent of the 80s era. The Krizia Robustella and David Mendez primary collection for PARAISO is named “Sweaty Champions” and features abstracted basketball, table tennis, rugby and racket themed illustrations.

Photographer Dizy Diaz captures the colorful image series that endorses 80s imagery, bringing us back to the days of our childhood.
