Wendy's is Releasing a Spongebob Krabby Patty Burger

With the 25th anniversary of 'SpongeBob SquarePants' fast approaching, the rumor mill is swirling that Wendy's will be releasing a SpongeBob Krabby Patty burger meal just for the occasion.

If you're unfamiliar, a Krabby Patty burger is the fictional burger at the Krusty Krab restaurant where SpongeBob, the star of Nickelodeon’s 'SpongeBob SquarePants' TV show, works. Now, according to a leaked memo, there is news that Wendy's will be unveiling a real-life Krabby Patty burger. According to the memo, the burger is described as “a premium cheeseburger with Wendy’s fresh, never frozen beef, topped with fresh produce and a secret Krabby Patty sauce, capturing the magic of the iconic fictional sandwich for SpongeBob fans.” Alongside the burger, fans will also be able to get their hands on a mango and pineapple-flavored Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty.

While Wendy's has yet to officially confirm the new offering, more news is likely to come this fall.
