Kathleen Kye, a Korean fashion designer and the founder of a self-named label, debuted a colorful series that considers the human connection to the digital world.

Playing with cuts, the apparel is marked by unique stitching and vibrant accessories that give it an especially youthful flare. What's most eye-catching about the Korean fashion designer's series is that she intermingles vintage and modern aesthetics for a well-paired contrast that speaks to the role of pop culture throughout time.

While this is done quite subtly on some occasions, Kathleen Kye uses the theme prominently in certain pieces which are completely covered by emojis. She represents this digital world through illustrations however, giving the symbols a more retro feel.
