Keeners Car Wash employs homeless youth and targets corporate and car share services. Using biodegradable products as well as biodiesel-powered steam cleaning technology, Keeners Car Wash requires less than five litres of water -- the equivalent of 12 cups -- to effectively clean the exterior of one vehicle. While creating jobs for at-risk youth around the city, the social business simultaneously donates its net profits to support Direction Youth Services Center, a similar foundation that provides immediate services and necessities along with long-term support for endangered youth.
