Although it's undeniably industrial in its materials and manufacturing, there is a beauty and delicacy to the Kakabel light which itself brightens up the atmosphere of its surrounding interior setting. From the side you may remark a cluster of four tapering metal tubes, but as you approach the elegant suspended piece from below, the detail of a complex corolla shines out around a conical pistil.
A smoldering silver coats the outside of the hanging lamp and a gleaming white is found within. LED lights are embedded in finned black fixtures which cast shadows deep into the floral form. An electric blue glow escapes subtly down through the Kakabel light giving it vivid dimension, though primarily Ken Dunard directed this vibrant tint upwards to offer ambient light on the ceiling.
