JPMorgan Chase Trading Floors Occupy Eight Levels Inside 270 Park Avenue

The new JPMorgan Chase trading floors are located within the firm’s new headquarters at 270 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan and were designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The eight floors are organised as interconnected neighbourhoods rather than traditional linear trading halls, with double-height suites that link teams vertically and horizontally. Central atriums bring daylight into the depth of each floor, while shared staircases connect adjacent levels to support movement between groups. Custom cantilevered desks were developed to maintain clear sightlines across trading areas while accommodating extensive digital infrastructure.

Each trading floor integrates cafés, informal meeting areas, and enclosed rooms positioned around the perimeter to balance focused work with collaboration. Landscaped seating zones are distributed throughout the plan to provide visual relief within the dense workspace.
