Building on the popularity of Rosé Sparkling Wine, Josh Cellars is introducings Prosecco Rosé just about a year after introducing its first Prosecco. The Prosecco Rosé is sourced from Italy and boasts fresh wild berry and blackberry notes, plus the 11.5% ABV sparkling wine is said to have a refreshing acidity and a bright effervescence.
The Prosecco Rosé is being introduced to help people celebrate everyday moments with a different choice than they might otherwise gravitate towards.
Tom Steffanci, president of Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits, which has owned and marketed Josh Cellars since 2011, notes: "The Prosecco segment is up 33% versus a year ago and Rosé sparkling is up 34% in dollar sales."
