Alpha Kilo’s Mayfair townhouse at No. 11 Savile Row has been transformed into an immersive, residential-style environment by celebrated American interior designer Joe Waroquier for Work/Shop London. Waroquier layered furniture, textiles, lighting, and objects from leading luxury brands and independent makers—including Farrow & Ball, Kartell, Lee Broom, Corston Architectural Detail, Marc Phillips Rugs, The Marchmont Workshop, and Tom Faulkner—into a cohesive, lived-in space that celebrates both artisanal skill and contemporary design.
Waroquier reimagined the Georgian townhouse as a dynamic dialogue between craft, materiality, and storytelling. Each room was curated to balance heritage and modernity, with objects arranged to feel intimate and personal, encouraging visitors to explore textures, techniques, and narratives behind every piece. Signature moments included stencil-mural walls created with Farrow & Ball and Corston, a chairmaking vignette with The Marchmont Workshop, and installations that seamlessly integrated furniture and decorative arts into immersive tableaux.
“Joe has an extraordinary ability to unify diverse collections into an experiential space,” says Amanda Kasper, Founder of Alpha Kilo. “His work for Work/Shop London demonstrates how design can shape storytelling, bringing craft, culture, and contemporary aesthetics into one coherent vision.”
