Travelling overseas for an indeterminate amount of time can be incredibly expensive and that's where Jobbatical comes into play. It's a website that connects travelers with foreign employers that have short-term jobs that need to be filled. Although most of them revolve around tech right now, Jobbatical has grown to include 400 opportunities in less than a year -- with 2000 job seekers registered to date.
Developed by Estonia-based Karoli Hindriks, Jobbatical was conceived after she took an eight-day vacation in Malaysia. Design Taxi writes, "Some listings on the site include an Android developer role in Slovenia, a sales associate position in Indonesia, a marketing specialist opening in Hong Kong, and a cloud engineering stint in Israel."
