The French must be really serious about their fresh bread by the looks of Jean-Louis Hecht's vending machine. It provides his customers with easy access to baguettes all hours of the day, so that no dinner party will have to be ruined because the local bakery is closed.
Located in Northeast France, Jean-Louis Hecht's baguette vending machine is loaded with pre-cooked loaves that are warmed by the internal oven when purchased. Already a huge success, this bread dispenser sold 4,500 loaves last month. Considering that people are buying pizza, dishes and even crabs from vending machines, Jean-Louis Hecht's bread would definitely be all the rage in this town.
As Jean-Louis Hecht sees it, "This is the bakery of tomorrow. If other bakers don’t want to enter the niche, they’re going to get decimated."
