Elderly E-Commerce Education

JD's New Service Center Helps the Elderly Adapt to Online Shopping

In order to help senior customers learn how to better utilize electronics and take advantage of JD's e-commerce platform, the JD Home Appliance Flagship store in Deyang, Sichuan, opened a service section dedicated to educating elderly shoppers.

For senior customers, the service team will suggest electronic products that are simple to use as well as teach them how to use them. Additionally, the company offers free services to entice senior citizens to test its goods and has adapted its online platform to better suit the needs of senior demographics.

“JD has an omnichannel business ecosystem, so we also need to provide the best experience for all customers offline. We have the responsibility to help elderly people solve their problems and enjoy their lives,” said Mengkang Wu, head of JD Home Appliance.
