Pabst Blue Ribbon is turning wearable beverage packaging into a seasonal fan experience through its collaboration with Horror Inc.’s Jason Universe. The limited-edition PBR 12-pack is designed so consumers can transform the packaging into a wearable Jason Voorhees mask, connecting the product directly to Halloween costumes and horror fandom. The release is supported by themed apparel, glassware, collectibles, watch parties, nightlife events and retail displays, extending the collaboration beyond the beer itself.
For PBR, making the packaging interactive gives consumers another reason to engage with and share a seasonal product while strengthening its connection to pop culture. The recognizable Jason character can also introduce the beer brand to horror fans through multiple physical and digital touchpoints. Timed around Halloween and the upcoming Crystal Lake series, the campaign creates urgency while supporting retail visibility, merchandise sales and experiential engagement.
