JR East is Offering a First-Class Tour of the Japanese Countryside

With the latest travel option from train operator JR East, touring the Japanese countryside has never been so appealing. The train company will be offering a first-class travel experience that will take train riders through the scenic Japanese mountains on a luxurious sleeper train designed by Ken Okuyama.

The train will feature two to three luxury suites, a dining car and a lounge car, making this one of the most intimate travel experiences available. Okuyama has designed for the likes of Ferrari, Tag Heuer and Pininfarina, so it's a pretty safe bet that his JR East designs will be extravagantly beautiful.

Starting in 2016, the train will offer two day trips for any interested tourist wishing to explore areas of Japan that might not immediately come to mind. With this fun and worthwhile travel option from JR East, perhaps train travel will begin to infiltrate modern day exploration.
