As in love with the city of New York as I am, I naturally fall prey to the 'tourist syndrome' in that I have never really seen the 'real New York.' But thanks to Jake Dobkin, that has changed--at least, it has a little. Granted, when I do go to New York, I usually stay with a friend in Harlem so...

Either way, Jake Dobkin gives you a great vantage point of areas and buildings that will probably not last the test of time--let alone the next few years. Abandoned, dilapidated and overall rundown, Life Lounge is right in assuming that the buildings "are destined to be destroyed or gentrified."
