Minimal Ultra-Luxurious Watch Designs

The Latest Issey Miyake Watch Line Enlists Satoshi Wada

A new Issey Miyake watch line is dropping and the silhouettes embrace timeless elegance and luxurious aesthetics. The collection is completed through a collaboration with Satoshi Wada who is the former Audi A5 designer.

The new Satoshi Wada x Issey Miyake watch is titled ‘U,’ which stands for “the concept of the unknown, or Unidentified.” This aura of subtle mysticism adds an alluring connotation to the timepiece design.

The dial boasts minimal Roman numerals which communicate sophistication. In addition, the timepiece is functional, with water-resistance of up to 50 meters. Its battery, on the other hand, has a life of three years and the timepiece is “powered by a VJ21 quartz movement.”
