Iridescent Basketball Sneakers

Adidas Pairs the Anthony Edwards 3 with Silver TPU

adidas updates the men's Anthony Edwards 3 with a purple upper and an iridescent silver TPU support frame, a molded plastic shell that gives basketball players a colder-weather look tied to recent Timberwolves styling. The finish keeps the shoe's skeletal structure intact while adding a more regal, jewel-toned surface.

Purple wraps the forefoot, heel and outsole, while the silver frame remains the visual focal point and shifts tone as light hits it. That shimmering treatment is a new move for the AE3, even if similar finishes have appeared on the AE1. The "Purple Iridescent" colorway reaches adidas and select retailers on November 10, 2026. It will retail for $130.

At $130, adidas is using color and surface treatment rather than a rebuilt model to keep the Anthony Edwards line moving. The Minnesota-linked palette gives the AE3 a team-coded option that can work for both on-court wear and off-court styling.
