High-Performance Smart Home Modules

Quectel Debuts a New IoT Connectivity Solution — the KCMA32S

Quectel's newly launched KCMA32S module represents a significant advancement in IoT connectivity solutions. This innovation combines Zigbee 3.0 and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3 technologies in an exceptionally compact form factor.

Quectel's dual-protocol wireless module is built around Silicon Labs' energy-efficient EFR32MG21 system-on-chip. It delivers robust performance for smart home and building automation applications through its ARM Cortex-M33 processor, which is capable of 80MHz operation. The IoT connectivity solution's standout features include flexible memory configurations (up to 96KB SRAM and 1024KB flash), comprehensive mesh networking support, and enterprise-grade security through Secure Vault technology. With superior -104dBm receiver sensitivity and +20dBm transmission power, the KCMA32S ensures reliable wireless communication across extended ranges while supporting up to 20 configurable GPIO pins for diverse peripheral interfaces. Its industrial-grade operating temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) and multiple antenna options make it adaptable to challenging environmental conditions and various product designs.
