Feather-Painted Artwork

This Intricate Art Was Painted onto Birds' Feathers

The intricate art created by Krystle Missildine uses birds' feathers as a canvas.

The paintings all feature portraits of different animals that are so detailed they appear almost lifelike. The artist has painted a variety of animals in her artwork including cats, tigers, parrots, clown fish, red pandas, dogs and even the tentacles of an octopus. Despite the limited space and textured surface she has to work with, the artist is able to create extremely complex pieces of art. Rather than let the unusual canvas hinder her work, it becomes its most valuable piece.

This beautiful pieces of art are highly creative and likely to inspire others to think outside the box when attempting to express their imagination.
