Sephora was recently launched on Instagram checkout, allowing consumers to buy items digitally though Instagram feeds or stories. Members of the Instagram loyalty program will be able to earn Beauty Insider points from Sephora purchases. Over 80 different brands will be available through Sephora's presence on Instagram checkout, including Drunk Elephant, Milk, Makeup, and more.
Carolyn Bojanowski, the senior vice president and general manager of eCommerce at Sephora, made a statement about the new launch, "Our clients engage with social media in so many ways, like drawing inspiration from the community, getting tips from experts or learning about new beauty trends so we're always looking for new ways to enhance that beauty journey."
