João Correia is the founder of InGamba, a cycling tour company with an emphasis on food and drink.
This tour is definitely for foodie's who prefer to remain active! During the week-long excursion, guests will ride between 30 and 80 miles per day. However, they are handsomely rewarded for their efforts at the dinner table, where Correeia's delicious meals and wine flow freely. Participants are also treated to massages throughout the week.
Perhaps the participants' endurance will be tested more at the table than on the road. Correia jokes, "We ride and we do good riding, but I tell people that at 1 p.m. I want to be at the table, eating lunch. I joke that for every hour we ride we spend three hours at the table."
