In an effort to target the modern beauty world, Amazon announced that it's gearing up to launch an indie beauty retailer, that will offer products that aren't available through most large retailers.

This move aims to highlight smaller companies and businesses, while also offering a more exclusive opportunity for Amazon's consumers. While the details regarding this online beauty shop are scarce, the brand claims that consumers can expect to find cosmetic essentials as well as men's grooming products. According to Amazon, the products offered through the page “must be at least 50 percent owned by an independent operator,” essentially meaning that the products can't be sold through large retailers.
