Energy-Efficient Data Servers

'Incooling' is Working to Reduce Severs' Energy Output Globally

'Incooling' is a server technology company working to reduce the global climate impact of digital servers and data centers. The company notes that a large amount of the world's energy production is spent running, and particularly cooling, data centers and servers. As a result, Incooling has created a server design with significantly improved energy efficiency.

Incooling's innovative server cooling system leverages a combination of liquid cooling, air cooling, and reactive temperature sensing. The cooling system applies cold water to the server until the point where the water evaporates. This water is then collected in a gas chamber and transformed back into water, restarting the process on its own. Additionally, the amount of cooling and duration of cooling can fluctuate in real-time based on the active temperature of the server and the current processing load on the server. This means servers that complete task at lower temperatures, or servers that complete tasks more quickly, will become highly energy efficient with Incooling's technology.
