Stäk is an innovative immersion coffee brewer that boasts an elegant, low-tech design that consists of three simple, stacking parts: a funnel, a base and a top component. Immersion brewing usually calls for letting the water and coffee grounds steep before filtering out the finished product and Stäk updates an old design with a ceramic system that does away with traditional lever mechanisms.
Notably, this low-tech project comes from Argodesign, which regularly works with cutting-edge tech companies. For the creation of Stäk, Argodesign worked with Mudshark Studios to refine the design of the immersion coffee maker. Stäk now sets itself apart as Argodesign's first-ever commercial product to be designed, produced and sold in-house.
The sophisticated system is meant to be used with care as part of a mindful daily ritual.
