AI-Powered Tech Repair Assistants

The iFixit FixBot Helps Consumers Repair Their Devices

The iFixit FixBot artificial intelligence (AI) assistant has been debuted by the tech repair platform as a solution for helping consumers to more easily make it through their at-home tech repairs. The assistant can be found inside the brand's new app and will provide as much or as little guidance as required, depending on the expertise of the user. The assistant can thus interpret user-submitted photos and text to help identify what's needed for repairs and more.

The iFixit FixBot assistant also provides additional insights for users of the app including offering advice for when it might be time for a battery replacement and more. The assistant will relay users directly to iFixit for easy access to all the materials and components needed for repairs for a seamless experience.
