Whether you realize it or not, even boring choices for furnishings do contribute to your interior decor. Now, the Icona Armchair offers something on the opposite end of the spectrum, when you compare it to your usual options for home seating solutions.
Inspired by Erba Italia's Red Baron chair, this model comprises a base that's much like an ottoman. The cushion rises to a comfortably ergonomic height, producing a springy and cozy surface for a comfortable recline. The backrest of the piece, however, is what really catches the attention.
Curled around the foundation of Giorgio Soressi's chair is a metal trellis to act as a rear support. It encloses the sitter slightly, with an open texture of ring patterns. With one or two Icona Armchairs in a room, you'd have little need to decorate the place further.
