Cronut-inventor Dominique Ansel recently teamed up with Empellón's Alex Stupak to whip up some sweet ice cream tacos. While plenty of chefs have tried to put a unique spin on soft serve ice cream, this tasty creation takes the popular summer treat to a whole new level.
Ansel and Stupak's new ice cream tacos consist of masa-waffle cone taco shells filled with sweet corn-flavored ice cream that has been swirled with sea salt, lime zest and pieces of roasted caramel corn. The dessert taco is then served with a smokey salsa verde for dipping.
